Jordan Gogos wins at the GQ Men of the Year Awards

GQ Australia celebrated the 14th GQ Men of the Year Awards in association with BOSS, at a black-tie event at Crown Sydney on Thursday night.

Seventeen awards were presented on the night to people who lead by example and achieve great success, continually raising the bar in their chosen field.

Among the winners was GQ Man of the Year Murray Bartlett, recipient of the GQ Global Icon award Russell Crowe, GQ Woman of the Year Olivia DeJonge, GQ Actor of the Year Dacre Montgomery, Breakthrough Musician of the Year Budjerah, plus the Prime Minister of Australia Anthony Albanese who won Politician of the Year.

Greek Australian fashion designer Jordan Gogos, also received the ‘Creative Force’ award. Gogos’ fashion designs are known to explore notions of gender fluidity and sustainability with a contemporary practice-led approach.

GQ Australia editor-in-chief Jake Millar congratulated all the winners on the night.

“We have so much fantastic talent across the country, and the GQ Men of the Year Awards in association with Boss is not simply a fantastic black-tie event, but an opportunity for us to celebrate the individuals who are moving this country forward as role models for the next generation,” Mr Millar said.

“Congratulations again to all of our winners, and a huge thank you to our presenting partner Boss, and to our supporting partners Belvedere, Jaguar, Boss Parfums and Crown Sydney.”
