In an interview with The Greek Herald, Ms Zantiotis says she is “honoured and excited to be the first female President of our wonderful association and especially in our centenary year.”
“It is certainly a milestone and paves the way for other women to follow in my footsteps,” Ms Zantiotis adds.

“I am elated that the new board demonstrates equal representation between men and women and I look forward to encouraging young Kytherian families to join our Association.”
Ms Zantiotis has been on the Board of the Association for the last four years and was Secretary for the last two.
She is taking over from outgoing President, Emmanuel Alfieris, who decided to step down this year after four years at the helm of the KAA.
He tells The Greek Herald he’s “proud” of what he achieved and is “excited about the new Board’s potential.”
