Ange Postecoglou features on Perth mural as Tottenham prepare to face West Ham

·

Tottenham Hotspur FC have landed in Perth, Western Australia to play against West Ham United for the first leg of their Asia-Pacific tour at Optus Stadium, Burswood on Tuesday night.

Both team and new Spur’s coach, Ange Postecoglou, have been welcomed to WA with a large mural on a wall across the road from the Perth Concert Hall. The mural features the English Premier League club’s slogan, ‘To Dare is To Do’ with a serious faced Postecoglou front and centre.

This comes as the Spur’s have had a week prior to tomorrow’s match to prepare alongside their new coach Postecoglou.

The Tottenham team has been training at the Swan River at the WACA Ground where a welcome message read on arrival, “G’DAY SPURS AND WELCOME HOME ANGE.”

“I can’t believe that I’m actually exactly where I’ve always wanted to be,” Postecoglou said in a 60-minutes interview ahead of the match.

“It’s just bizarre because even as recent as maybe five years ago, me and my mates were talking about the Premier League. And now the stuff we were talking about, I’m right smack bang in the middle of it.”
