South Melbourne FC hold annual Christmas celebration

The South Melbourne Football Club held its annual Christmas celebration at Lakeside Stadium on Monday, December 18.

South Melbourne President Nick Maikousis attended the event, alongside members of his Committee and Chairman Bill Papastergiadis.

Coaches and players of the men’s and women’s football teams also joined in the celebration.

All in attendance were welcomed by Ashley Maikousis, as President Maikousis took the floor to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.

President Maikousis also spoke about the historic participation of South Melbourne in the new Australian National Second Tier, and provided an update on Victorian and Australian football developments.

South Melbourne’s first friendly match of 2024 will take place on Saturday, January 13 in Sydney against Sydney Olympic for The Greek Herald Cup.
