Steve Dimopoulos MP gets extra portfolios in Victorian cabinet re-shuffle

The Victorian Minister for Tourism, Sport and Major Events, Steve Dimopoulos, has taken on the extra portfolios of Minister for Environment and Outdoor Recreation following a cabinet reshuffle by Victoria’s new Premier Jacinta Allan.

Ms Allan was sworn in as Victoria’s 49th premier on Wednesday last week, a day after Daniel Andrews announced his resignation.

In a post on Twitter, Steve Dimopoulos MP shared his pride to be part of Ms Allan’s team as Minister for Environment and Outdoor Recreation alongside Major Events, Sport and Tourism.

“There are great challenges in these areas, but I’m proud to be part of a team that is focused on addressing each as an opportunity to build a better state,” Mr Dimopoulos said.

Mr Dimopoulos will join a new cabinet which features many existing and new faces. Key portfolio roles including planning, police and health have remained the same.
