The draw for the Hahn Australia Cup 2026 Round of 32 has produced several mouth-watering fixtures.
South Melbourne will host A-League side Adelaide United in one of the standout ties of the round, while Preston Lions have been drawn against defending champions Newcastle Jets.
Sydney Olympic will also welcome top-flight opposition, hosting Brisbane Roar, while Heidelberg United face a trip to South Australia to take on Cumberland United. The match carries extra interest for Heidelberg supporters, with Cumberland coached by former Bergers player and manager Phil Stubbins.
Elsewhere, Sydney United 58 have drawn Central Coast Mariners, and FK Beograd will take on North Sunshine Eagles in an all-NPL clash.
The draw was conducted in Brisbane on Monday night and officially launched the Finals Rounds of the competition following the completion of the Preliminary Rounds.
A record 777 clubs from across Australia entered the 2026 competition, with the field now reduced to 32 teams. The remaining clubs represent every level of the game, from grassroots and regional football to the A-League Men.
Ten A-League Men clubs remain in contention, alongside 22 community and semi-professional sides from Football Australia’s nine member federations.
Several clubs are making their first appearance in the Round of 32, including Azzurri United, North Sunshine Eagles, Preston Lions, Kingborough Lions United, Marlin Coast Rangers, Rochedale Rovers, Cumberland United, FK Beograd and Fremantle City.
Other notable fixtures include Bayswater City hosting Sydney FC, Lions FC meeting Perth Glory, and APIA Leichhardt taking on Peninsula Power.
