Zeus Street Greek plans 130-store push as expansion accelerates nationwide

·

Zeus Street Greek (ZSG) is ramping up its national expansion, outlining plans to open 130 new restaurants across Australia as it enters what it calls a “new era” of growth.

The Whiteoak-owned chain, founded in 2014, recently reached 50 stores after adding five locations since April and is now targeting roughly 20 new openings a year over the next four years.

Co-founder Costa Anastasiadis said the brand had become a nationwide favourite since launching a decade ago.

“Since we opened our first store in 2014, Zeus Street Greek has grown into a fan favourite for communities across Australia,” he said.

“Over the next four years, we are accelerating our expansion with plans to more than double the number of restaurants providing tasty, fresh, Greek-inspired food for everyday Australians.”

The company says the rollout would lift its customer reach by 28 per cent, with CEO Ramon Castillo calling the 130-store target a “major feat” while stressing that quality and customer experience must remain the priority.

He also said: “In 2027 alone, we expect to create hundreds of new jobs for Australians through this accelerated expansion,” adding the franchise model allows local operators to support their communities through employment.

Whiteoak founder Richard Whiteoak has previously described the chain as having “significant scale opportunity”, while also warning that the speed of expansion needs careful management.
