Outstanding VCE Greek achievements highlight excellence at GCM Schools

·

The Greek Community of Melbourne (GCM) Schools have announced the outstanding achievements of their students in this year’s VCE Greek examinations.

Once again, the majority of students demonstrated strong dedication and performance. Specifically, 51% achieved a score of 35/50 or higher, while 21% excelled with a score of 40/50 or above, before scaling. In addition, 81% of GCM students secured a score of 30/50 or higher, reaffirming the high academic standards of the organisation.

Maria Bakalidou, Principal of the GCM Schools, praised the students’ efforts, stating: “These results are a testament to the hard work, resilience, and passion our students bring to their learning each day.”

“We are immensely proud of their achievements and deeply grateful to our dedicated teachers who guide and inspire them. The success of our students reflects the strength of our programs and our ongoing commitment to high-quality Greek language education,” Mrs Bakalidou said.

The GCM extends its warmest congratulations to all students for their hard work and perseverance, and to the educators for their invaluable contribution.

With a strong sense of responsibility, the Community remains committed to further promoting and strengthening the Greek language, and to nurturing the connection with Greek culture among younger generations.
