A Touch of Spice tells the story of Fanis, a young boy in Constantinople whose grandfather teaches him that both food and life need a touch of spice. When his family is forced to leave their homeland, Fanis grows up between loss and longing, carrying with him the flavours that keep memories alive and connect him to the past.
