28th Greek Film Festival announces encore screenings in Sydney

Due to popular demand and after the official closing night on October 29, the 28th Greek Film Festival in Sydney has announced additional screenings for the outstanding films Behind the Haystacks and IMAN.

“We could not deprive our audience of experiencing one more time the two extraordinary films that opened and closed this year’s Greek Film Festival,” Festival Chair, Nia Karteris, said.

The multi-award-winning feature film by Asimina Proedrou and the official Greek entry film to the Oscars that opened the 28th Greek Film Festival, Behind the Haystacks will screen once again at Palace Cinema Norton Street on Friday, November 3 at 8:30 pm.

The powerful closing night Cypriot film Iman, a must watch movie with a grandiose and unexpected ending, will thrill the audiences once again at Palace Cinema Norton Street on Saturday, November 4 at 7pm.

EXTRA SESSIONS @ PALACE NORTON ST:

  • Sat 4 Nov – IMAN – 7:00pm

The 28th Greek Film Festival officially runs 19 – 29 October 2023 at Palace Norton Street with extra screenings being booked by popular demand till Saturday, November 4.
