Scholars’ Assembly celebrates academic excellence at St Spyridon College

·

St Spyridon College held its annual Scholars’ Assembly on the morning of Friday, February 14, celebrating outstanding academic achievement and recognising students awarded University Scholarships supported by St Spyridon Parish.

The ceremony acknowledged students who attained an ATAR of 97 or higher, while also formally announcing the College Dux for 2025 as Phillip P.

Fellow high achievers Justin H and Peter W were recognised for their results, which reflected both personal dedication and the College’s strong academic culture.

The assembly was attended by representatives of the parish, including the Very Reverend Father Steven Scoutas, the Very Reverend Father Stavros Ivanos and Parish President Elia Economou.

College leaders expressed their appreciation for the parish’s ongoing generosity and support, noting the important role it plays in encouraging excellence and aspiration among students.

In his address to the student body, Phillip P offered a reflective message, urging his peers to remain grounded amid success.

“Do not forget how mistaken we are for glories, riches, passions and pleasures, when all we need is to have a pure heart,” he said.

The Scholars’ Assembly remains a highlight of the school calendar for St Spyridon College, celebrating achievement while reinforcing the values of humility, service and faith that underpin the College’s educational mission.
