Greek music legend George Dalaras amazes at sold-out Sydney concert

The Greek Festival of Sydney has come to an end for another year with a sold-out concert by music legend George Dalaras at the State Theatre on Friday, May 26.

Everyone enjoyed the concert.

The concert was organised by Encore Productions by Pambris Bros and the Greek Festival of Sydney, and saw generations of Greeks – from the youth to the elderly – gather to witness Dalaras perform his musical magic.

George Dalaras gave a spectacular performance.

True to form, the charismatic Greek singer had the audience singing loudly and in unison along with some of his classics including Pou ‘Nai Ta Chronia.

Rising music stars, Aspasia Stratigou and Alexandros Tzouganakis, drew applause with their supporting performances.

Throughout the concert, Dalaras also spoke at intervals and thanked the Greek diaspora for their support and love during his Australian tour, which included his first-ever visit to Perth in Western Australia and Melbourne in Victoria.
