Clemton Park Greek School student wins Canterbury Easter card design competition

·

A Year 2 student from Clemton Park Greek School has been named the winner of this year’s Canterbury Easter card design competition, NSW Minister Sophie Cotsis announced in a social media post.

The student, Peter, was recognised for his artwork among a strong field of entries described as “incredibly creative and beautiful,” making the decision difficult for organisers.

Ms Cotsis also congratulated runners-up Sabine, Theodora and Georgia for their “fantastic artworks,” acknowledging the high standard of submissions across the competition.

“Congratulations also to Sabine, Theodora, and Georgia, who were named runners up and submitted fantastic artworks,” she said.

She thanked all participating students, as well as teachers and parents for their ongoing encouragement in supporting children to express creativity and emotion through art.

“Thank you to all the students who took part, and to the teachers and parents who continue to encourage and nurture our children to express their creativity and emotions through art. Your support makes such a difference,” Ms Cotsis said.
