Athens to host 2026 EuroLeague Final Four

·

The 2026 EuroLeague Final Four will return to Athens, with the event set to be staged at the Telekom Centre Athens for the second time.

The arena, which holds over 18,000 spectators, will host the semifinals on May 22 and the championship game on May 24. It last staged the tournament in 2007.

“Athens is a city with a deep basketball heritage and one of the most passionate fan bases in Europe. We are thrilled to return in 2026,” Euroleague Basketball president Dejan Bodiroga said.

CEO Paulius Motiejunas added: “The city’s commitment to basketball, combined with its rich history and the passion of Greek fans, makes it an ideal stage for our biggest event.”

Euroleague officials thanked the Greek government and Ministry of Sports for their support, saying Athens’ selection reaffirms Greece’s central role in European basketball.
