Ancient Olympics inspire new Dior collection

·

The 2024 Summer Olympics are on the horizon.

Maria Grazia Chiuri seems to share the excitement as evidenced by Dior’s Fall 2024 Haute Couture collection, which was unveiled in Paris.

According to fashionista.com, the collection brings forth ancient Greek design archetypes (column dresses, armor-like tops, lots of draping) reimagined for the contemporary wearer.

The new collection also incorporates sportier silhouettes, like racer necklines and hoods on eveningwear.
