Volos Mayer, Achilleas Beos, told AP News that “…80% of the city is without power…I don’t know where God found so much water.”

This comes as Ekathimerini reported that rescuers are also searching for the pilot and passenger inside a helicopter that went missing during Storm Elias on Thursday. The helicopter was set to touch down in Volos on Thursday morning from Athens.
