Man charged with murder of wife in South Australia

A South Australian man has been charged with murder and attempted murder after a shooting in Adelaide’s north-eastern suburbs.

SA police arrived at a property in Campbelltown to find a 51-year-old woman dead at the scene and a 22-year-old woman with serious injuries.

The 21-year-old was rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital where she remains in a stable condition.

The man has been charged with murder and attempted murder and appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates Court today. He did not apply for bail.
