Greece’s swimming federation coach, Panagiotis Velentzas, is optimistic for the team.

“We are in Melbourne to succeed. All three of our athletes have acclimatised smoothly to the schedule and the weather and our goal is to be in the finals…” Velentzas told The Greek Herald exclusively.

“In Melbourne, what we want is to improve our positions as well as our performances, which will also be new pan-Hellenic records, and of course to enjoy nice races.”
