Influencer Adelle Petropoulos reflects on breakup and recovery journey

·

Adelle Petropoulos has opened up about completing months of therapy following the end of her engagement just weeks before her wedding.

Speaking on the It’s A Lot podcast, she said counselling helped her process the five-year relationship and its abrupt ending.

“I graduated therapy… I feel like I have respectfully closed that chapter,” she said.

The breakup occurred while she was overseas, prompting her to immediately end the relationship.

“I didn’t even have the thought process of like, ‘should I stay, should I not.’ I was just like, ‘What? Bye. I’m out. This is not for me.’”

Petropoulos admitted she initially struggled to express her emotions and described the aftermath as a “rollercoaster,” particularly due to the public nature of the split.

Now focused on work and personal growth, she said the experience has pushed her into a new phase.

“I’ve closed that chapter… new year, let’s go. Let’s charge,” she said.
