AHEPA Sydney & NSW Inc – Philanthropy will host a special High Tea Fundraiser next month, bringing together community members for an afternoon of learning, reflection and support for cancer research.
The event, titled The Latest in Cancer Research: Where are we heading?, will be held on Sunday, 8 March 2026, at Conca D’oro, The Renoir Room, in Riverwood, Sydney.
Guests will hear from Vasso Apostolopoulos, Head of RMIT’s Longevity and Chronic Diseases Program, who will provide insight into current and emerging directions in cancer research.
Professor Apostolopoulos is internationally recognised for her pioneering work in translational research, including vaccines, drug development and the use of artificial intelligence to improve health, longevity and chronic disease outcomes.
The fundraiser will start at 11.30am and conclude at 2.30pm. Tickets are $110 per person, which includes high tea, champagne on arrival, lucky door prizes and raffles.
Organised by AHEPA Sydney & NSW Inc, the event aims to raise awareness and support for ongoing cancer research, while also providing an opportunity for community connection in a relaxed and elegant setting.
