Greek Orthodox Diocese of Perth delivers over 1,200 Christmas gifts to Children’s Hospital

·

The Greek Orthodox Diocese of Perth has delivered more than 1,200 Christmas toys and gifts to Perth Children’s Hospital as part of its annual Christmas Toy Drive, held on Wednesday, December 17, on behalf of His Grace Bishop Elpidios of Perth.

The total nearly doubled last year’s donations, with contributions gathered from across the Diocese of Perth, reflecting widespread generosity during the Christmas season.

St Andrew’s Grammar in Dianella, led by principal Craig Monaghan, made a major contribution, alongside strong support from the Greek Language and Culture Institute of Evangelismos.

Hospital representatives, including Executive Director Tony Dolan and Volunteer Services Coordinator Andy Wahid, warmly thanked the Diocese and donors.

Christmas blessings from Bishop Elpidios were passed on to staff, volunteers and young patients, with appreciation also extended to the Venoutsos family and New West Foods for transporting the gifts.
