Darwin’s Greek community welcomes Australian Ambassador to Greece

The Greek Orthodox Community of Northern Australia (GOCNA) and the Hellenic Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry NT (HACCI NT) co-hosted a special reception in Darwin to honour Her Excellency Alison Duncan, Australian Ambassador to Greece, Bulgaria, and Romania.

The event provided an opportunity for Ambassador Duncan to meet leading members of Darwin’s Greek community and engage with figures from the region’s business, political, cultural, and social spheres.

Held in a warm and culturally rich setting, the evening celebrated the strong bonds between Australia and Greece, with guests reflecting on the enduring friendship between the two nations.

The turnout of prominent local figures highlighted the vibrancy and significance of the Hellenic community in the Northern Territory.
