Hellenic talent shines among finalists for the Australian Legal Awards

The Australian Law Awards are set to return on Thursday, August 14, celebrating 25 years of recognising outstanding talent in the legal profession.

Held at The Star, Sydney, the prestigious black-tie event will spotlight individuals and firms driving the legal industry forward across the country.

The awards are open to all legal professionals and businesses supporting the business of law in Australia, including managing partners, general counsel, barristers, legal academics and emerging talent.

Among the finalists up to be nationally recognised and earn one of the industry’s most coveted accolades are Australians with Hellenic heritage. These include:

Managing Partner of the Year:

Bill Papastergiadis OAM, Moray & Agnew

Innovator of the Year (Individual):

Matthew Karakoulakis, AMK Law

Law Student of the Year:

Fotios Petrelis, Carroll and O’Dea Lawyers

Mediator/Arbitrator of the Year:
