Last week, two players from St George Basketball had the incredible opportunity to visit sister club, Apollon Patras, in Greece.

This meet-and-greet was a fantastic experience that further strengthens the growing relationship between the two clubs.

Ross Aliferis (Men’s Team) and Bella Needle (Youth League Women’s) were warmly welcomed by Apollon Patras Secretary, Aristides Zervas, who provided a guided stadium tour and hosted a meeting to introduce the players and explore ways to deepen the partnership between the clubs.

Ross spoke highly of the experience, noting his admiration for the impressive facilities, rich history of Apollon Patras, and the high standard of professionalism in Greek basketball.

“We’re excited about what lies ahead for this international connection and look forward to building more opportunities for cultural exchange and basketball development,” the Association said in a statement.
