Field of candidates announced for 2025 Greek Community of Melbourne Board election

·

The Greek Community of Melbourne (GCM) has officially called elections for a new Board of Directors, with members set to head to the polls on Sunday, 29 June 2025.

Voting will take place from 9am to 8pm at Alphington Grammar, located on Old Heidelberg Road, Alphington.

According to the Electoral Committee, all financial members who have held membership for more than six months are eligible to vote. Members whose memberships expired in 2024 may vote upon renewal.

Those whose memberships lapsed in 2023 can also regain voting rights by paying two years’ worth of fees (2024 and 2025), either in person or by phone. However, online renewals are not available for these members.

The GCM encourages members to check their status and renew if necessary by calling (03) 9662 2722, visiting the GCM office at 168 Lonsdale Street, or attending in person on election day.
