Sydney court hears details of ex-bikie Peter Zervas’ arrest

·

A Sydney court has heard details of the day ex-Hells Angel bikie Peter Zervas was arrested last year for allegedly kidnapping and bashing a man over a drug debt.

According to The Daily Telegraph, court documents revealed Zervas was completely naked when police cuffed him inside a home on Challenger Way at Cranebrook in the early hours of November 1 last year.

The court heard Zervas and his co-accused Sozo Loukis bundled their alleged victim into his own car and bashed him unconscious amid allegations he owed Loukis $17,000 for drugs.

The victim managed to alert police to his situation by secretly calling triple-0 on his smart watch, before he was allegedly taken to Loukis’ house where the alleged assaults continued.

According to police, when officers arrived at the home, Zervas ordered the victim to jump a nearby fence. Zervas followed suit and lost his pants in the process, ending up naked on his bottom half.

Zervas and Loukis were arrested and charged with kidnapping in company with intent to cause actual bodily harm and wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

They are yet to enter pleas to the charges, but the cases for each man will return to court later this year.
