Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has spoken out about his repulsion over the recent Hamas terrorist attacks and re-instated his support for Israel’s right to self-defense.
Ekathimerini reported that the Greek PM spoke with his Israeli counterpart, Benjamin Netanyahu, on Saturday over the phone.
During the phone call, the two leaders discussed the importance of protecting the lives of innocent people in Gaza, and urged for appropriate measures to be put in place to help protect them while the conflict continues.
This discussion further addressed the ongoing crisis and need for peace following the ongoing conflict.
This came as Greece’s Foreign Ministry issued a statement indicating for people to avoid travel to Israel, the Palestinian Territories and Lebanon during this difficult time to ensure citizens remain safe.
