Greek Australians inducted as Life Members of Football South Australia

Football South Australia has announced that the 2025 Life Member inductees were ratified at the recent Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on May 14.

Among the individuals inducted as a Life Member of Football SA for their outstanding contribution to the sport were five Greek Australians: George Fotopoulos, Nick Pantsaras, Christos Pounendis, Jim Tsouvalas and the late Con Economos.

The life membership nominations were considered and recommended to the Board of Football SA by the Football SA Awards and Honour Committee and ratified by the Members of Football SA at the AGM.

The life member inductees will be formally acknowledged and presented with their award during the RAA National Premier League and/or Apex Steel Women’s National Premier League Grand Final being held at ServiceFM Stadium in September.
