Nick Kyrgios lists fully furnished luxury Sydney penthouse for auction

·

Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios has listed his luxury penthouse in Kensington, Sydney for sale, with the property set to go under the hammer on June 14.

The three-bedroom, two-bathroom, top-floor apartment comes fully furnished and carries a price guide of $1.8 million.

Located atop the Capella building with sweeping views to the Blue Mountains, the split-level residence features high-end finishes, a north-facing rooftop terrace, and a spacious main bedroom measuring 5.5 by 3.3 metres.

Kyrgios purchased the penthouse for $1.6 million in 2022 and has since upgraded the kitchen, including the addition of a breakfast island.

Listing agent Tristan Oddi of PPD Real Estate describes the home as rare and highly sought after.

“They are very sought after [at the Capella building]; buyers are on a waiting list and the penthouses rarely come up, maybe one or two sell in a 12-month period,” he said.

Buyers can expect a turnkey property with all furnishings included. “It comes fully kitted,” Oddi said. “He’s leaving a lot of inclusions – the big TV, the sound bar, the couch – he’s spared no expense, all the furniture is really high end.”

Ideal for down-sizers or growing families, the property offers a large floor plan, rooftop balcony, and access to communal amenities including a swimming pool and grassed play areas.

The building’s central location in Kensington places it minutes from shops, cafes, and public transport.

The property, located at 802B/260 Anzac Parade, is open for public and private inspections ahead of the June 14 auction.
