Mitsotakis attends Trump’s UN dinner in New York

·

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, accompanied by his wife Mareva Grabowski-Mitsotakis, attended a dinner hosted by US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump in New York during the High-Level Week of the 80th UN General Assembly.

The dinner formed part of the Greek delegation’s program of multilateral contacts on the sidelines of the Assembly.

Mitsotakis and Trump are familiar from the US president’s previous term, which overlapped with Mitsotakis’ first year as prime minister.

They last met at the White House in early 2020, and a new meeting there is under consideration, though details remain unconfirmed.
