Ben Christou charged after alleged drunken brawl outside Adelaide hotel

A 32-year-old man, Ben Elliot Christou, appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday after allegedly punching two men during a drunken brawl outside the Mile End Hotel.

Mr Christou, of Fulham Gardens, was arrested on Saturday, March 14 following the incident, which was reportedly captured on CCTV footage.

Police have charged him with two counts of assault and one count of property damage. He has not yet entered pleas.

According to court documents, the alleged victims are Michael Leslie George and Jonathon Lindsay Inverarity. Neither man has been charged in connection with the incident.

Mr Inverarity is also seeking compensation, alleging that Mr Christou intentionally damaged his iPhone 8 Plus during the altercation.
