Summer soundtrack: The ultimate guide to Greek concerts and festivals in 2025

Fans of Greek music and culture, unite! If you’re visiting Greece this summer, chances are you’ve already booked your flights, found the perfect place to stay, and started daydreaming about sun, sea, and souvlakia (lots of them).

There’s nothing like a Greek summer however, it can get even better! I’ll tell you how.

Imagine a trip to Greece without live music echoing through the warm Mediterranean air? See, you can’t!

Wherever you are in the country, The Greek Herald has the inside scoop on must-see performances to catch during your summer escape. Here’s who to look out for:


Nikos Oikonomopoulos

A beloved Greek singer who gained national recognition after winning Dream Show – The Music 2 in 2006. He’s on tour across Greece this summer:

  • June 29 – Patra (Kostas Davourlis Panachaiki Stadium)
  • July 3 – Larissa (AEL FC Arena)
  • July 19 – Rhodes (Club Amphitheatre)
  • July 30 – Heraklion (Pankrition Stadium)

Konstantinos Argyros

One of Greece’s most successful modern artists, Argyros fuses pop with traditional laïko styles. Catch him on tour:

  • July 14 – Gipedo Mesiniakou, Kalamata
  • July 21 – Δημοτικό Στάδιο Κοζάνης, Kozani
  • July 25 – Ammos Beach Bar, Larnaca, Cyprus
  • July 29 – Δημοτικό Στάδιο Σκιάθου, Skiathos

Natasa Theodoridou

A national icon, Theodoridou is known for her mezzo-soprano voice and emotional delivery.

  • July 23 – Pattichion Municipal Amphitheatre, Larnaca, Cyprus

Anna Vissi

Known for her powerhouse vocals and theatrical stage presence, Vissi is one of Greece’s most iconic performers.

  • July 5 – AEK Arena, Larnaca, Cyprus
  • September 13 & 14 – Panathenaic Stadium (Kallimarmaro), Athens

Eleni Foureira

Eurovision royalty! Foureira wowed Europe with “Fuego” in 2018, giving Cyprus its best result ever.

  • July 2 – Katrakio Theater, Athens

Antonis Remos

A titan in the Greek music scene, Remos is loved for his soulful voice and moving performances.

  • September 10 – Pattichion Municipal Amphitheatre, Larnaca, Cyprus

Despina Vandi

With a voice and discography that have defined Greek pop, Vandi continues to fill stadiums. Her 2000 hit “Ipofero” remains Greece’s best-selling single of all time. Catch her at:

Pyx Lax

One of Greece’s most legendary and beloved rock bands. Their music fuses rock with Greek folk and poetic lyrics.

Giorgos Sabanis

A pop-rock star with a golden touch. His journey from athlete to award-winning artist is inspiring—and his live performances are electric.

Michalis Hatzigiannis

One of the biggest names in Greek pop and rock. His emotionally charged voice and enduring hits have captivated fans across generations.

Dimitris Basis

Known for fusing Byzantine tradition with modern laïko, Basis has won hearts with his powerful voice and cultural depth. First started singing in churches in Greece as a Byzantine Chanter.
