Mytilenian Brotherhood to celebrate traditional ‘Sardella Day’

The Mytilenian Brotherhood of Sydney is set to bring back their annual ‘Sardella Day’ event on Sunday, September 17, at the Mytilenian House in the Sydney suburb of Canterbury. 

‘Sardella Day’ is typically celebrated on the Greek island of Lesvos where sardines are fished from the gulfs of Gera and Kalloni.

On the day, attendees will enjoy BBQ Sardella, fried Sardella, oven baked Sardella, along with mezethakia menu.

There will also be live music by Ioannis Kelligianis, Thanasis Pylarinos and Sofliklis Christodoulidis and a dance performance by the Sydney Greek Dancing School group to bring the atmosphere alive.

Sardella Day will be held at 12:30pm on Sunday 17 at 225 Canterbury Road, Canterbury, Sydney, Mytilenian House.
