Kids Taverna Night fundraiser to be held in support of GOCNSW schools

The Greek Orthodox Community of NSW (GOCNSW) is set to host a Kids Taverna Night to raise funds in support of its Greek Afternoon and Saturday schools.

The taverna night will be held at the Greek Community Club in Lakemba on Friday 29 August in a night filled with food, fun and entertainment.

As part of the event, students of the GOCNSW Afternoon and Saturday schools will also entertain attendees with a dance performance under the direction of dance teacher Paroula Thurban.

Numerous great prizes have been graciously donated as part of a grand raffle ticket draw that will be held on the night, including:

  • 2 tickets to Konstantinos Argiros at the Sydney Opera House – donated by Encore Productions
  • One term of free tuition (valued up to $1,000) – donated by First Education
  • Panasonic Micro Hi-Fi System with CD & Bluetooth SCPM250 – donated by NAPF Electronics
  • Galaxy Tab A8 (64GB, Gray) – donated by GOCNSW
  • Elegant pearl necklace – donated by Bowerhaus

Additionally, the evening will also include Lucky Door Prizes which include:
