Business and education unite at Oakleigh Grammar’s Annual Business Breakfast

·

Oakleigh Grammar has again hosted a successful Business Breakfast event, welcoming a diverse group of attendees from across the local business community, school suppliers, and special guests, as well as staff and students.

In its seventh iteration, this year’s breakfast featured two distinguished keynote speakers: Ross Lyon, Senior Coach of St Kilda Football Club, and Nick Papas KC, a highly respected barrister and legal expert.

The calibre of both keynote speakers was evident from the event being a complete sellout, as well as event records for the number of event sponsors and sponsorship revenue.

Guests were treated to an entertaining Q&A from Ross Lyon, who offered his insights on a range of topics including this year’s AFL Finals series, St Kilda’s own playing list and future finals aspirations as well as his role as Senior Coach and a leader in his organisation. Nick Papas then delivered an insightful address on his own career and current hot topics in the legal field.

Guests also heard from School Principal Mark Robertson and Business Network Convenor and school parent Vic Rajah.

Principal Robertson lauded the successful event, offering his gratitude “to the Business Breakfast Committee for their excellent work in securing two outstanding keynote speakers – Mr Ross Lyon, Head Coach of St Kilda FC and Mr Nick Papas KC which ensured the event was a sellout, was widely acclaimed by all in attendance and secured valuable funds for our School’s Performing Arts Program.”

The annual event continues to grow in significance each year, reflecting Oakleigh Grammar’s dedication to being a hub for innovation, education, and community spirit.

Oakleigh Grammar extended its heartfelt thanks to the event sponsors, whose generous support helped make the morning a success.
