Greek music legend George Dalaras visits Western Australia for first time

While legendary Greek musician George Dalaras has toured Australia many times, this year he visited Perth in Western Australia for the first time on May 22.

Hundreds, from the young to the old, flocked to the Perth Concert Hall to listen to Dalaras sing his timeless songs over three hours.

Rising musicians, Aspasia Stratigou and Alexandros Tzouganakis, accompanied Dalaras during the concert.

During his visit to Perth, the Consul of Greece in Perth, Georgia Karasiotou, and Fotis Korkokios hosted a dinner in honour of the world renowned musician and his wife, Anna Dalaras.

Present at the dinner was George and Marina Georgiou, as well as Sam Pambris from Encore Productions By Pambris Bros, who made Dalaras’ concert possible.

Dalaras also visited the Consulate of Greece in Perth before his departure for Sydney, the next stop on his Australian tour.
