NSW Governor bids farewell to outgoing Greek Consul General in Sydney

As his tenure draws to a close, the Consul General of Greece in Sydney, Ioannis Mallikourtis, was recently received by the Governor of New South Wales, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, for a farewell courtesy call.

The meeting took place in a warm and respectful atmosphere, with Mr Mallikourtis expressing his sincere gratitude to Her Excellency for her longstanding support and deep appreciation of the Greek Australian community.

Governor Beazley, joined by her husband Dennis Wilson, extended her best wishes to Mr Mallikourtis for his future endeavours, acknowledging his valuable service during his posting in Sydney.

Mr Mallikourtis was accompanied by his wife, Christiana Stavrou, for the occasion.
