The Vinnies CEO Sleepout is an annual one-night event where CEOs and community leaders sleep outdoors to raise funds and awareness for Australians experiencing homelessness.
Held on one of the coldest nights of the year, each participant commits to a fundraising target, with proceeds supporting Vinnies’ services such as emergency accommodation, meals, and long-term housing support.
Founded in 2006 by Bernard Fehon in Parramatta, the event has since grown nationwide, raising millions to help break the cycle of homelessness.

Funds go directly toward expanding and sustaining Vinnies’ programs across Australia, tailored to meet local community needs.
This year, two Australians with Hellenic heritage are named among the top three donors, with Reventon CEO Chris Christofi at number one and Executive Director at Business Sydney, Paul Nicolaou, placing third. Their goals are $250,000 and $70,000, respectively.
Coming in at ninth is the CEO of St Basil’s NSW / ACT, Diana Horvatovic, who has already exceeded her goal of $10,000.
