Where can registered Greek diaspora vote in Australia on May 20?

Greek citizens in Australia, having successfully completed their registrations through the platform of the Ministry of the Interior apodimoi.gov.gr, are invited to vote for the parliamentary elections on Saturday, May 20, 2023.

For registered Greek citizens in New South Wales, Queensland and the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), the electoral process will be held at the premises of the Consulate General of Greece in Sydney (Level 2, 219-223 Castlereagh Street, Sydney, NSW, 2000) from 7am to 7pm.

For registered Greek citizens in Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and the Northern Territory, the electoral process will be held at the premises of the Consulate General of Greece in Melbourne (37-39 Albert Road, Melbourne, VIC, 3004) from 7am to 7pm.

Voters should have with them a Greek Police Identity Card or a Greek Passport.

Deadline for registering to vote in possible second elections:

According to protothema.gr, the deadline for the Greeks of diaspora to register in order to be able to vote for the possible second elections is May 21.

Under the current election rules in Greece, if no government is formed during the first election on May 21, a second election is expected to be called for July 2.

The deadline for submitting applications at apodimoi.gov.gr is until Sunday, May 21, at midnight.
