Greece launches Europe’s first custom version of GuideGeek travel AI

·

Travelers heading to Greece now have access to a free AI travel assistant called Pythia, designed to answer all travel and tourism-related questions about the country.

According to prnewswire.com, recently launched by DiscoverGreece.com, Pythia is available on both the website and WhatsApp, making Greece the first European country to utilize the GuideGeek artificial intelligence technology developed by Matador Network.

Pythia can help travelers plan their entire trip or provide specific recommendations on activities, landmarks, restaurants, hotels, and more. The AI generates real-time, personalized responses based on comprehensive data from DiscoverGreece.com and over 1,000 integrated travel resources powered by GuideGeek’s award-winning technology.

Matador Network has previously collaborated with destination marketing organizations (DMOs) in North America and the Caribbean, including places like Aruba, RenoTahoe, Idaho, Illinois, and Estes Park, Colorado.

With GuideGeek now meeting EU compliance standards through its partnership with DiscoverGreece.com, there are plans to roll out more custom versions across the EU in the coming months. Beyond assisting travelers in every stage of their journey, Pythia is also helping DiscoverGreece.com gather insights into visitor preferences and travel behavior.
