Giannis Antetokounmpo visits Nigeria for first time with mum

NBA star, Giannis Antetokounmpo, has visited Lagos, Nigeria for the first time with his mother, Veronica Antetokounmpo, reported The Will News.

Born and raised in Athens, Greece to Nigerian immigrant parents, Antetokounmpo is one of the most recognised faces in the NBA.

The Milwaukee Bucks player took to Instagram to share a photograph of himself and his mother walking in Lagos, with a caption that reads: “Finally made it to Nigeria with Mama the Mama.”

The two-time MVP engaged with aspiring young athletes at Rowe Park in Yaba, Lagos State while on his visit.
