The Embassy of Greece in Canberra has welcomed the Australian Ambassador to Greece, Alison Duncan, for a diplomatic meeting with Greece’s Ambassador to Australia, Stavros Venizelos.

The discussions covered the full spectrum of Greece–Australia relations, with both diplomats exchanging views on key issues of mutual interest.

The meeting was characterised by a warm and cooperative atmosphere, underscoring the strong friendship between the two nations.

The Canberra talks came shortly after Ambassador Duncan’s earlier visit to Melbourne, where she met with Victorian ministers, local government leaders, business representatives, education institutions, and members of the Greek Australian community.

Key discussions in Melbourne included strengthening sister city ties between Melbourne and Thessaloniki, exploring investment opportunities in Greece, and fostering education partnerships.
