Greek youth get creative on school holidays to learn about Ancient Greece

·

Young students from the Greek Schools of the Greek Orthodox Community of NSW (GOCNSW) have been getting creative these school holidays to learn about Ancient Greece.

On the day, students were taught a range of interesting topics by their teachers, including Ancient Greek mythology, the Greek gods, and the significance of pottery in Ancient Greece.

They also learned about the patterns they could paint on their very own vases or ‘αggeia.’ This led to the students creating and painting a vase on canvas.

The holiday program is also running next Wednesday, July 13. If you would like to reserve your spot, please email: education@goc.com.au.
