Fronditha Care finalists shine in national aged care awards

·

Ageing Australia’s 2025 You are ACE! Awards have announced their finalists for this year and among the names are two Australians with Hellenic heritage.

Fronditha Care’s CEO Faye Spiteri OAM and volunteer Theodorus Giannicopoulos have both been named finalists for their excellence, innovation and heart across the aged care sector.

The awards recognise outstanding individuals, teams and organisations making a positive impact in aged care, retirement living and seniors housing. The awards coincide with Aged Care Employee Day on August 7.

With more than 500 nominations nationwide, this year’s 52 finalists reflect the dedication of individuals and organisations transforming the lives of older Australians.

Ms Spiteri, based in Victoria, is a finalist in the ‘Individual – Leadership’ category, while Giannicopoulos is recognised for his service as a volunteer.

“We’ve had a tremendous number of people nominated this year, which speaks volumes about the dedication across our sector,” Ageing Australia CEO Tom Symondson said.

“The You are ACE! Awards are our chance to recognise, celebrate and thank those making a real difference every day.”

Winners will be announced on August 7.
