Applications open for the Cultural Program of the 44th Greek Festival of Sydney 2026

·

For more than four decades, the Greek Festival of Sydney (GFoS) has proudly celebrated the richness of Greek culture, language, history, and creativity.

Each year, the Festival brings together artists, thinkers, performers, musicians, writers, and community groups to share their work with thousands of audience members across Sydney.

Now, as preparations begin for the 44th Greek Festival of Sydney in 2026, you are invited to be part of this tradition.

Festival organisers are calling on artists, academics, performers, writers, musicians, cultural organisations, and creatives of all disciplines from across the Australian, Greek, and Greek Australian communities to submit their proposals.

Whether your work draws inspiration from ancient Hellenic traditions, Byzantine and medieval culture, modern Greek history, or contemporary Greek identity, the Festival provides a platform to bring your vision to life.

Participating in the Festival is an opportunity to:

  • Showcase your creativity to diverse audiences.
  • Share and preserve Greek culture across generations.
  • Connect with fellow artists, cultural leaders, and community members.
  • Contribute to one of the longest-running multicultural festivals in Australia.

Don’t miss your chance to take part in the 44th Greek Festival of Sydney 2026 – a celebration of culture, community, and creativity.

Applications must be submitted by Friday 21 November 2025.
