AHEPA Victoria celebrated its 80th anniversary with an annual gala dinner on Saturday, November 19. The gala took place at the Merrimu Reception Centre in Murrumbeena, Victoria at 7pm.

Guests enjoyed an evening of food, dancing and music by Southern Star Big Band and the Greek Band UNICK.

The Consul General of Greece in Melbourne, Emmanuel Kakavelakis, was in attendance, as well as other VIP guests and representatives from local Greek community organisations.

On the night, the AHEPA Victoria committee recognised long-time serving members for their dedication to the organisation and for their service to their community over the last 50 years.

The members recognised on the night were Tasia Manos, Sandra Mission, Iris Young, Olga Black, Messrs John Carram, Steve Manos, Peter Yiannoudis and Elias Doufas.

In a post on Facebook, the organisation wrote: “We would like to take this opportunity thank all attendees to our 80th Anniversary Ball and also for their support and participation.”
