Police issue new appeal for missing NSW man Peter Christofidis

Forty years after the disappearance of Peter Christofidis in Cheltenham, New South Wales, Moorabbin Crime Investigation Unit detectives have appealed for fresh information on the case.

According to The National Tribune, Mr Christofidis, then aged 28, was last seen on Cameron Street in Cheltenham on 14 March 1983.

The Volkswagen Beetle that he was driving was found abandoned on the Calder Highway near Ouyen a few days later.

Despite meticulously searching the area, the police were not able to locate Christofidis. He has never been seen or heard from since. He would be 67 years old today.
