Prime Minister of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis has been confirmed as a keynote participant at the inaugural Delphi Economic Forum Sydney, to be held on 27–28 March 2026 at ILUMINA in Sydney.
The announcement marks a historic moment in Australia–Greece relations, with Mitsotakis set to take part in a special ‘In Conversation’ session as part of the two-day program.
This will be the first time the internationally recognised Delphi Economic Forum is convened in Australia, representing its debut in the Asia-Pacific region.
The Sydney edition is expected to bring together senior figures from government, business, academia and media to examine global economic stability, investment trends and regional cooperation.
The forum is being hosted by the Delphi Economic Forum and The Hellenic Initiative Australia, with Macquarie Asset Management serving as Principal Partner.
Featured speakers include The Hon. Arthur Sinodinos AO, Andrew N. Liveris AO, Penny Fowler AM, Ben Way, Michael Miller, Symeon G Tsomokos, Yannis Papadopoulos, Dimitris Politis, The Hon. Steve Kamper MP, Ric Deverell, Arthur Tzaneros, Helen Vatsikopoulos, Nick Pappas AM, John Paitaridis, Louise Bezzina and George Frazis.
Over two days, discussions will span geopolitics, artificial intelligence, energy security, tourism, and strengthening economic bridges between Australia and Greece.
Organisers say the event represents a landmark bilateral milestone and a rare opportunity for Australian and Greek leaders to engage directly at the highest level.
