Mytilenian Brotherhood of Sydney rings in 2026 with memorable NYE celebration

The Mytilenian Brotherhood of Sydney and NSW welcomed 2026 in style at the Mytilenian House in Canterbury on Wednesday, December 31, with a lively and festive New Year’s Eve event.

Guests enjoyed an evening of live music from the Paradise Band and Nisiotiko Ksefantoma, dancing, laughter, and delicious catering by Messinia, which kept attendees well fed throughout the night.

The celebrations also included raffle prizes and plenty of kefi, capturing the spirit of a traditional Greek-style gathering.

Posting after the event, the Brotherhood said: “What a way to welcome the New Year! Here’s to new beginnings, good health and many more nights together in 2026. Happy New Year.”

The event brought the community together to farewell 2025 and usher in the new year with energy, joy, and a strong sense of community spirit.
