GO Youth NSW hosted a successful taverna night on Saturday, 27 September, as the Greek Australian community came together for Anoixi – A Night to Remember, held at the All Saints Greek Orthodox Church Gymnasium in Belmore, Sydney.
The vibrant evening – filled with live music, dancing, and traditional food – captured the essence of spring and Hellenic celebration, drawing a crowd of young people and community leaders.

Guests embraced the spirit of unity, laughter and friendship as they danced late into the night, creating an atmosphere true to its name – one to remember.
Adding a cultural highlight to the program, the Hellenic Lyceum of Sydney gave a performance before an audience that included His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, the visiting Patriarchal Delegation, and esteemed clergy attending the Second Pan-Australian Priestly Synaxis.

With smiles, music, and community spirit filling the hall, Anoixi showcased the strength and vibrancy of the next generation of Greek Australians – blending faith, tradition, and festivity in perfect harmony.
